Did you know coffee  as we recognize it is the pit of a cherry?  These cherries grow in clusters on a bush before being picked and husked.  Coffee cherries are sweet, clean and mild; unlike the tartness of a Bing cherry.  The husks are often brewed as tea in coffee producing countries and can occasionally be found in specialty coffee houses in the United States.
